Over the past several months, we have taken time to separate the requests of the special needs' community because of its uniqueness, thankfully, on the 11th of August 2021, my office and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups (MWAVG) assisted as many of those special requests as possible.

During this visit, we supported some of them with wheelchairs and clutches as part of the requests received. Several of them also took advantage of our offer of skills training programs to enable them provide a stable livelihood for themselves and their family. The Ministry will follow up to ensure they attend the next training.

Additionally, we had an open session for them, where we could listen to their; concerns, criticisms, needs, as well as make suggestions about how we could improve or create inclusive services to help with their daily lives. We are making this gesture to show that our intention and devotion is to continue to provide resources to all the residents of Imo State through the 3R Government.
