Despite the events of the last few months which threw Imo State into utter confusion, and let our state be characterised by violence, armed robbery, and kidnapping, we owe great thanks to God for allowing today’s prayer convention to be a reality.

Today, we prayed to Almighty God for the preservation of our beloved State, and we know he will answer us. It is important that I thank all the anointed men of God who were present and led us in prayer and praises, as well as those who expressed prayer on our behalf for Imo state; that it will be a State that produces distinguished men and women.

I pray that our beloved Imo State will recover from all its recent losses so that we can repair, recover, rehabilitate and reconstruct our state.

Once again, I wish to extend my condolences to the loved ones of those who lost their lives in the recent tragic incidents and pray that the Almighty God will bless them with the strength to carry on and endure the loss.

In that spirit, I want to offer my deepest gratitude to all those in attendance for lending their voices in prayer.
