World Hepatitis Day 2026 commemoration by the Imo State Ministry of Health, in partnership with the GoodHope Women Flourish Initiative, and the Rise Against Hepatitis Global Initiative, under the theme: “Hepatitis: Let Us Break It Down.”
Highlights:
✅ A “Walk for Life” from Control Post, Owerri, to the Imo State Secretariat
✅ Free health talks, screenings, and counselling sessions at the Ministry of Health Complex
✅ A collective call for routine hepatitis screening, particularly during antenatal care, before surgeries, and for healthcare workers
