“It is not the length of life, but the impact of it, that matters.” With these words, I conveyed my condolences to Hon. Jennifer Oguzie and the entire Oguzie family during a condolence visit following the passing of their beloved mother, Dame Dr. Mrs. Obiagaeri Phoebe Oguzie, at their family home in Emeabiam, Owerri West Local Government Area. I was accompanied by the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu; the Wife of the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Mrs. Christphina Olemgbe; and the wives of members of the Imo State House of Assembly. Late Dame Dr. Mrs. Obiagaeri Phoebe Oguzie will be remembered as a virtuous woman, devoted Christian, educationist, and philanthropist whose life of service and compassion left an enduring legacy in her family, community, and society at large. I pray that Almighty God grants the Oguzie family the strength and comfort to bear this great loss, and may the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace. 🙏
