The message of sacrifice as the cost of discipleship was highlighted during yesterday’s Mass as I worshipped with my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma CON, at the Imo State Government House Chapel. The homily called on all to embrace sacrifice and selfless service as essential conditions for authentic discipleship, encouraging us to be generous without counting the cost. Charity and service to others are not mere obligations, but privileges born of love and compassion towards those in need. As the new week begins, may we strive to embody these virtues daily. Beyond private devotion, our collective progress depends on the strength of our civil morality; upholding empathy and commitment to the common good as stewards of a just and harmonious society.
