First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC) Cancer Survivors Month 2026, a celebration shared with survivors, advocates, and distinguished guests. A reminder that you are more than a diagnosis, and life after cancer matters. 🎗️💜

Highlights:
✅ Arrival of FLAC member First Ladies and wives of State Governors; a show of solidarity and commitment to cancer advocacy
✅ Courtesy visit to the host Governor, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma CON, and his formal investiture as Special Friend of FLAC, in recognition of his support for FLAC’s programmes
✅ Cancer Survivors Gala held under the theme ‘Celebrating Survivorship, Strengthening Systems’
✅ Distinguished guests including First Ladies of non-FLAC member states, friends of FLAC, cancer advocates, and people of goodwill
✅ Cancer survivors shared their survivorship journeys; stories of pain, perseverance, and triumph
✅ Cancer survivors took to the runway, modelling with grace and confidence, a demonstration that life beyond cancer is not just possible, but beautiful
✅ Direct financial support presented to twenty cancer survivors as relief and encouragement
✅ Fundraising to support FLAC’s programmes and cancer advocacy
✅ A night of triumph, celebration, and renewed commitment to cancer advocacy

Their lives are our evidence. Their stories are our arguments.
