On the gracious invitation of the Embassy of Israel in Nigeria, I was honoured to join in celebrating Israel’s 78th Independence Day yesterday, a commemoration of shared history, rich culture, and innovation that highlighted the enduring diplomatic partnership between both nations. Israel’s remarkable journey over nearly eight decades stands as a global lodestar of resilience and technological advancement. Through collaborations in agriculture, technology, and education, both nations continue building a foundation for mutual prosperity. As we shared in this celebration, we reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening these bilateral ties. May this partnership continue yielding meaningful opportunities for both our people. Congratulations to the government and people of Israel on this historic milestone; may our shared future always be defined by peace, cooperation, and progress.
