The GoodHope Women Flourish Initiative, in partnership with the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme, inaugurated the Women Community Activation Network (W-CAN) to achieve zero tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation across Imo State.
Highlights:
✅ Focal women mobilised across all 27 LGAs of Imo State
✅ Ugoezes, religious leaders, PWDs, and market women united in commitment
✅ Institutional support from Ministries of Health and Women Affairs
✅ Upholding the Imo State VAPP Law of 2021 criminalising FGM
