One Voice, One Movement, One Choice: That was the spirit at the National Women Mega Empowerment Rally 2026, held at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on May 5, 2026. Women from every corner of the country stood together, committed to building a nation where women are at the center stage of progress and prosperity. The atmosphere was electric as I joined Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of Nigeria, and millions of others for this historic moment. The gathering demonstrated that women’s empowerment is not just a goal, but essential to Nigeria’s sustainable development. A major highlight was the presentation of the Women’s Charter for National Development, outlining priorities like political inclusion, economic opportunity, and improved welfare. The event also featured the symbolic distribution of empowerment items, including tricycles, power tillers, and sewing machines, to beneficiaries.As we raised our voices together, the message was clear: Nigerian women are ready to lead, transform, and claim our rightful place in shaping the future.
