The Church recognizes motherhood as a sacred calling and a divine role. As the heartbeat of the home, we are the first teachers of faith and the pillars upon which our families stand. It was a moment of joy for my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, and I to celebrate Mother's Day at our home parish, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Ozuh-Omuma. I am deeply moved and humbled by the Catholic Women Organization of St. Rose of Lima for the special honour of 'Queen Mother.' To every mother: may the Lord replenish your strength and grant the secret petitions of your hearts. May your homes overflow with peace, and may your children always walk in the fear of God.
