To commemorate Easter, my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, and I, joined by our family in joy and gratitude for the season, worshipped at our home parish, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Ozuh-Omuma, for a Thanksgiving Mass. The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by the Auxiliary Bishop of Orlu Catholic Diocese, Bishop Thomas Obiatuegwu, alongside the clergy. In his homily on the resurrection as our foundation for hope, the Bishop urged us to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and the joy of new beginnings. As we carry the joy of this season in our hearts, let us extend that same love and compassion to our neighbours, especially those who are struggling. Easter is a season of sharing, and our greatest gift is to be a source of hope to others. May the blessings of the risen Christ reach every home in Imo State.
