My husband, His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma, CON, and I attended the funeral service of the late Chief (Mrs.) Monica Nnenna Nnaji, beloved mother of Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, FRN. The Burial Mass was held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Akpugo, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, in the company of family members, friends, and other distinguished personalities. As we reflect on this solemn occasion, we pray that the family finds comfort in cherished memories and the exemplary life she lived. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen. May God grant the Nnaji family the strength to bear this great loss.
