INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION WITH NIGERIA’S FIRST LADY, HER EXCELLENCY SENATOR (Dr.) OLUREMI TINUBU, CON
✅ Over 5,000 women gathered for the 2026 International Women’s Day Celebration.
✅ The First Lady highlighted this year’s theme, “Rights, Justice, Action for All Women and Girls,” calling for stronger commitment to women’s education, empowerment, healthcare, and social protection.
✅ Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno commended the vital role of women in strengthening families and society.
✅ Akwa Ibom women endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio for another term ahead of the 2027 elections.
✅ The endorsement was formally declared by Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, alongside women leaders in the State.
✅ The First Lady also commissioned an ultra-modern Senior Citizens Center in Ikono LGA, named in her honour and conceptualised by the late H.E. Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, designed to provide healthcare, recreation, and social support for the elderly.
