On this Ash Wednesday, I join the Christian faithful in Imo state and nation as we embark on the holy season of Lent. The imposition of ashes is a reminder of our shared humanity, our humble beginnings, and our ultimate dependence on God’s grace.

As we begin these forty days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, let us reflect on the values of sacrifice and selflessness. May this period of spiritual renewal inspire us to serve one another with greater compassion and integrity. Wishing you all a reflective and purposeful Lenten journey.
