I was delighted to join my beloved husband, His Excellency Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma, CON, at the 18th Leadership Annual Conference and Awards in Abuja, where he received the Governor of the Year 2025 Award alongside five other governors. In Imo State, we have seen bold and intentional progress across key sectors: from infrastructure renewal to strategic economic reforms, all driven by a genuine commitment to improving the lives of our people. This award reflects the strides of his administration’s hard work and commitment to serving the people. I commend Leadership Newspapers for promoting excellence and good governance, and I congratulate all the award recipients for their valuable contributions to our country. I also warmly congratulate Nigeria’s First Lady, Her Excellency Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her well-deserved ‘Person of the Year’ award.
