As part of activities marking the successful Golden Jubilee of Imo State, indigenes of the State and friends of Imo State converged at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, for a Thanksgiving Mass. The mass provided an opportunity to thank God Almighty for fifty years of existence, growth, and development, as well as to reaffirm the collective commitment to the continued progress of the State.

As Imo State ushers in a new era, the Government calls on all Imolites, at home and in the diaspora, to remain united and steadfast in building a resilient, prosperous, and forward-looking State that will serve as a worthy legacy for present and future generations.
