Imo State celebrates its Golden Jubilee as we mark fifty years of its creation. In thanksgiving to God for His enduring faithfulness and unfailing grace, my husband, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, and I commenced the anniversary activities with a solemn worship service at the Imo State Government House Chapel, lifting our hearts in gratitude to the Almighty for His guidance, protection, and abundant blessings over the years. The celebrations continued at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square with the Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service marking the 50th Creation Anniversary of Imo State. Joined by Imolites from all walks of life, as well as friends and well-wishers of the state, we reflected prayerfully on God’s sustaining hand and the remarkable journey of Imo State since its creation. As we give thanks, we also renew our collective commitment to unity, peace, and shared prosperity. May Almighty God continue to bless Imo State, its people, and all those whose dedication and contributions have helped shape our state into a beacon of progress and hope.
