My husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, and I, along with other faithful, attended Holy Mass today at the Imo State Government House Chapel. The homily was anchored on the theme, 'Rejoice and Be Happy.' It emphasized that true happiness is not derived from having all one desires, but rather is a conscious choice we make. It encouraged all present to embrace joy and contentment, regardless of whether all personal wishes and aspirations have been fulfilled. As we carry on, may we choose joy over complaint, and gratitude and contentment over constant craving. When we embrace happiness as a deliberate choice rather than a conditional response, we unlock the door to lasting peace and fulfillment. Let this wisdom guide our steps, inspire us to spread this light to everyone we encounter, and put it into practice in our daily lives.
