I joined family members, friends, and well-wishers at the funeral ceremony of Late Deaconess Florence Nnennaya Ugwu, JP, the beloved mother of the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, UNJP. As we remember that solemn occasion, I continue to pray that the family finds comfort in the fond memories shared and in the exemplary life she lived. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, and may God Almighty grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
