The Catholic Women Organization has been a pillar of faith and service to the Church, demonstrating the Gospel in action through its love and compassionate service, which extends far beyond the walls of the church. At the 2025 Owerri Archdiocesan Catholic Women Organization (OACWO) Day celebration at the Maria Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri, on November 15th, 2025, I was honoured with the OACWO Pillar Award, where I was represented by Mrs. Ijeoma Nduka, the Wife of the MD of the Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority (AIRBDA). Having previously received the Nneoma title two years ago, I recognize that motherhood, as a call to service, whether physical or spiritual, is about nurturing life, protecting the vulnerable, guiding the lost, and creating spaces where others can flourish. I commend His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Lucius I. Ugorji, for his support and for recognizing the contributions of women in the Church. I thank the entire executive and members of OACWO for the honour, which I dedicate to continued advocacy for initiatives that promote the welfare of women and children in the State.
