At the Nigerian Governors' Spouses Forum (NGSF) Annual Retreat hosted by Cross River State on November 7, 2025, I joined my fellow state First Ladies to collaborate and deliberate on issues affecting our women and children.
As part of our activities during the retreat, we paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Eminence, Edidem Ekpo Abasi Otu V, the Obong of Calabar, where we were immersed in the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Calabar people, and subsequently to our host, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Prince Bassey Otu, at the Government House.
I extend my profound appreciation to our gracious host, the First Lady of Cross River State, Her Excellency Eyoanwan Otu, for her warm hospitality. This annual retreat provides a vital platform for sharing experiences and innovative approaches to addressing challenges facing our women and children. As representatives of our states, we recognize our collective responsibility in championing policies that enhance quality of life for our people.
