I received in my office members of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) who paid a courtesy visit on November 4, 2025. The delegation, led by the National President, Aishatu Ibrahim, and the Imo State Chapter President, Dr. Dorothy Nnaji, expressed their gratitude to the 3R Administration of my husband, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, for the numerous reforms in the state and his continuous support for women journalists in Imo State. They also extended an invitation to their National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting scheduled for November 21–23, 2025. This is particularly significant, as it marks the first time Imo State will be hosting the meeting in over three decades since the organization’s inception. NAWOJ is an organization I deeply admire for its pro-women initiatives. I commended them for their resilience as women journalists and thanked them for the visit and for their outstanding work in advancing the profession. I also assured them of my continued support for the activities of the association.
