In commemoration of All Souls’ Day on November 2, 2025, I joined my dear husband, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, together with Imolites and the faithful, at the Government House Chapel to remember and pray for the repose of the souls of the faithful departed. The homily of the day emphasized the importance of praying for the deceased, showing hospitality, and trusting in God's mercy. It also encouraged us to pray for one another and to show hospitality, especially to strangers, as by doing so we may have entertained angels. As we move forward with the reminder to treat others with kindness and compassion, may we remember that our actions can bring comfort to those who have passed on. I pray that the souls of our loved ones and all the faithful departed rest in perfect peace and be comforted by our love and prayers.
