The 2-Day Free Cancer Screening Programme organized by GoodHope Women Flourish Initiative, in collaboration with the Imo State Ministry of Health, culminated yesterday, October 31, 2025, at Imo Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri.

By providing free breast, cervical, and prostate cancer screenings for 2,000 persons, we removed the barriers that have kept too many people from getting screened. Our theme, "Equitable Cancer Care," affirms that every life has equal worth and deserves equal care.

I thank everyone who participated in this programme and all who made it possible: the Imo State Government through the Ministry of Health, our dedicated healthcare professionals, and every person who trusted us with their health. Your participation demonstrates the power of prioritizing health and taking proactive steps toward early detection.

Together, we are rewriting the cancer narrative. Together, we shall beat the odds of cancer through early detection, awareness, and commitment to equitable healthcare for all.
