At the YES SHE CAN - Learn, Leverage and Lead Summit held on October 4, 2025 at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, where I was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, I charged young ladies to believe in themselves and know that they are enough to become the women who can change the narrative. In my Mother of the Day address, I reminded the young women that I was not born a First Lady, but that the dreams they carry in their minds can become reality. I urged the participants to look into the future with hope, always keep the door open for another person, and reassured them of my support as they journey into their future of making impact. The convener of @yesshecan.africa," Dr. Adaora Onyechere, expressed her deepest admiration for the exemplary service and commitment to the empowerment of women and girls in Imo State. She stated that my advocacy and motherly dedication to building platforms that uplift and nurture the next generation of female leaders embody the very essence of their vision. Accompanying the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare to the event were Mrs. Maureen Chimara, Ezinne Chioma Amadi, Mrs. Ekwutosi Peace, Hon. Amb. Kate Osigwe, and Uju Jennifer.
