The town of Ilishan-Remo in Ogun State was adorned with fanfare and jubilation as the community celebrated the 48th Isanbi Day and welcomed home their illustrious daughter, my dear sister and friend, Her Excellency Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, the First Lady of Ogun State, for her special Homecoming on October 4, 2025. It was an honour to join my sisters, HE Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, HE Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, HE Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and HE Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the First Ladies of Ekiti, Oyo, and Lagos States, and the former First Lady of Oyo State, along with other distinguished guests at this colourful occasion, where the people of Ilishan celebrated their rich cultural heritage, unity, and remarkable progress. I congratulate Her Excellency Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun on this special homecoming and commend the people of Ilishan-Remo for their commitment to preserving their heritage while embracing progress.
