Yesterday at the Imo State Government House, I represented Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of Nigeria and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, at the National Launch of "FLOW WITH CONFIDENCE," a menstrual health intervention designed to empower our precious school girls by promoting knowledge, dignity, and confidence through improved menstrual hygiene.

The programme, which was launched simultaneously in Borno, Cross River, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Kebbi, and Lagos States, will distribute a one-year supply of disposable sanitary pads to three hundred and seventy thousand (370,000) school girls in rural communities across the nation. This initiative is designed to support our girls in rural communities and those who are unable to afford sanitary pads.

I thank Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, and the Renewed Hope Initiative for championing this cause and for understanding that true empowerment begins with addressing the practical challenges our girls face daily. This initiative has shown dedication to breaking barriers and creating pathways for our girls to flow with confidence.
