It was with great joy and gratitude that we welcomed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to Imo State on a working visit on September 30, 2025. Accompanied by the Senate President and his deputy, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and his deputy, State Governors, traditional rulers, APC leaders, and other dignitaries, Mr. President graciously commissioned landmark legacy projects executed under the administration of my dear husband, the Governor of Imo State, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON. The reconstructed 52km dual carriageway of the Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia Road, the Assumpta Flyover at Control Post, and the iconic Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Center (EIICC) stand as symbols of renewed hope, connectivity, and opportunity. These projects are more than infrastructure: they are engines of trade, tourism, investment, and global engagement, opening new doors for the future of Imo State. We are thankful to Mr. President for honouring us with his presence despite his pressing national duties. His visit not only reaffirms his support for Imo’s progress but also strengthens our collective resolve for a prosperous Nigeria. Following this historic commissioning, the EIICC hosted the public presentation of a book authored by my husband, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria.” The book offered a moment to reflect on the APC’s ten-year journey of resilience, service, and impact on our nation. I am deeply grateful to all our distinguished guests, leaders, and friends of Imo who honoured us with their presence and contributions. Your support made the event truly remarkable. I commend my darling husband for his full commitment to transformative governance. Together, we remain dedicated to advancing the Shared Prosperity Agenda for the benefit of Imo people and our nation.
