In solidarity with our sister, Her Excellency Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, First Lady of Kogi State, who recently lost her father-in-law, I joined my fellow members of the Nigeria Governors' Spouses Forum on September 8, 2025, for a condolence visit to the family to share in their grief.

We prayed that God accepts his soul and grants the bereaved family and the people of Kogi State the strength to bear this loss.
