Women have been the backbone of families and society at large, always putting forth our efforts in solving problems in our communities and always seeking shared commitment that tends to put our communities in the limelight. The 4th grand finale of the August meeting of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of St. Rose of Lima Parish Ozuh Omuma in Oru-East LGA, my home parish, was one of those gatherings where we demonstrated our shared strength as a force for good. At the event, where I was represented by Hon. Nkechinyere Ugwu, UNJP, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, I urged the women to endeavour to represent their homes in a more exemplary manner and pledged my continued support. I also thanked God for the successful 2025 August meeting.
.In appreciation of the numerous support given to the church and community at large by my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON and me, the leader of the CWO, Nneoma Hon. Mrs. Amandianeze, said our contributions have been a source of inspiration and strength to them, describing my husband and me as "beacons of hope and pillars of support to them." "The Governor is a benefactor, great philanthropist, political juggernaut, and people-oriented leader personified."
She lauded the Governor for projects in their parish and for the empowerment of the youths. "Only in Omuma parish is food being shared with people after church service, courtesy of His Excellency. He is currently building nursery, primary, and secondary schools for the parish, besides the bus he donated to us last year." The St. Rose of Lima CWO conferred the titles of "IDE JI ULO" and "UGO OMA SI MBA" on my husband and me, respectively.
