I hosted delegates from the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), led by the State Chairperson, Phil. O. Amaefule, MCArb, who visited my office on July 22, 2025. The delegation briefed me on their various initiatives, including advancing women's rights and legal empowerment across the state.

I commended FIDA for their impactful work and commitment to creating an enabling environment for women's empowerment. I also pledged continued partnership to strengthen legal protection mechanisms for women and ensure equal access to justice throughout Imo State.

The meeting provided me with the delightful opportunity to reconnect with my former lecturer, Prof. U. K. Chinweze, from my undergraduate days at Imo State University, Owerri.
