In a continued effort to foster maternal and child healthcare services, I received a delegation from Cradle and mum specialist hospital, Owerri, at my office yesterday. The team was led by the Medical Director, Dr. Muomalu Chinwe. During our meeting, Dr. Muomalu outlined the various initiatives the hospital has undertaken and continues to implement toward advancing maternal and child healthcare in Imo State. Most notably, their exceptional work earned them recognition in the Airtel Touching Lives Season 7 program; Airtel Nigeria's corporate social responsibility initiative that rewards individuals and organizations making significant impact on the lives of Nigerians. Cradle and Mum Hospital was honoured with medical equipment in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

In response, I commended the team for their exemplary work in enhancing healthcare services in our state, particularly their dedication to maternal and child health. I also pledged my continued support for their healthcare promotion efforts throughout the state.
