We reiterated our sympathies to H.E. Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the beloved widow, and the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, during our condolence visit to Daura, Katsina State, on July 19, 2025, when we were led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON.

The First Lady commiserated with the family and conveyed the deepest condolences of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the women of the nation to the entire Buhari family.

President Buhari was not only a statesman but a symbol of integrity, discipline, and devotion to Nigeria, who served our nation with honour both as a military leader and a democratically elected President.

The visit team included the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hajia Fatima Tajudeen Abass, wife of the Deputy Senate President, Hajia Laila Barau, wives of various State Governors, wives of Ministers, wives of Service Chiefs, and many other women.

We pray that God grants him eternal rest.
