It was a soothing balm for our spirits today as my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma and I, joined other worshipers at the Government House Chapel for Sunday's Mass.

The Good Shepherd Sunday sermon by the Bishop of Okigwe Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Solomon Amanchukwu Amatu, who officiated the Mass, reminded us of our roles and the sacrifice required of us as stewards of the people. We are called to embody the virtues of the Good Shepherd; love, service, and selflessness in our daily lives. It is imperative to remain steadfast in the grace bestowed upon us by God, urging us to uphold our duties with faithfulness.

May we be inspired to embrace with humility and dedication the mission to love, serve, and nurture those placed under our care.
